Haier A2FE635CFJ

Haier’s A2FE635 is a unique fridge freezer in both features and for its bold looks. It’s available in several colours. The black plastic inset handle for the fridge is concealed on the side of the door. This may create an issue with finger access if your appliance is very tight up against a left hand side wall, but the door is reversible should this be the case. The control panel is touch sensitive and operates most of the functions of the appliance.

The A2FE635 is a fridge freezer than final to get noticed. On a red version, a confidant finish is a textured ‘orange peel’ that hides finger outlines unequivocally good and is easy to purify purify when it does get mucky. The black cosmetic inset hoop for a fridge is secluded on a side of a door. This competence emanate an  emanate with finger entrance if your apparatus is unequivocally parsimonious adult opposite a left palm side wall, yet a doorway is reversible should this be a case. The LCD turns off after a few seconds withdrawal only a black panel

This Haier model offers a spectacular 248-litre fridge capacity and reasonable 99 litres of freezer space, which is very good overall volume for a 190 cm tall appliance. The freezer drawers take some getting used to if you are familiar with a traditional door and plastic internal drawers. The fridge space will be ideal for larger families or those who keep a lot of chilled foods and beverages. The four shelves are wipe clean glass, one splits and folds over so you can stand larger bottles on the lower shelf. The three main door pockets are nicely deep front-to-back and the lowest is taller to stop bottles falling out if you open the door quickly. A central smaller door storage box is handy, albeit less than the width of the door. The upper of the two plastic drawers is the salad draw with a humidity control dial. Haier recommends turning it to a higher humidity for the likes of cucumbers, grapes, gooseberries and persimmons (we had to look them up too) and a lower humidity for soft fruits like strawberries and tomatoes, beans and, strangely, garlic. It’s a nice feature to have, though, as it will help keep your fruit and veg fresher for longer.

Samsung RH25H5611SR

The most obvious -- and most popular -- feature on the Samsung RH25H5611SR is its "Food Showcase" design featuring a glass door within the refrigerator door. Samsung RH25H5611SR is a side-by-side fridge with a door-in-door Food Showcase design, which puts frequently used foods within easy reach in a compartment behind the fridge door. The RH25H5611SR's exterior boasts a smooth stainless finish, while both interior sections have lots of LED lighting. The door-in-door storage is designed for quick access commonly used items, while a door-mounted ice maker keeps shelf space clear in the freezer.

The design is pretty plain, especially compared with the more expensive Food Showcase side-by-side, which looks fantastic. Storage space is also a bit cramped in the body of the fridge, even by side-by-side standards. The refrigerator also features an external ice and water dispenser, digital controls and LED lighting. At CNET, the RH25H5611SR performs better in hitting and maintaining the correct temperatures than more expensive models in the Food Showcase series.

Samsung RH25H5611SR is quiet, energy efficient, and does a good to great job of holding its temperature. The door-in-door design is visually attractive and most owners love its practicality. The RH25H5611SR had hotspots, too, but much less severe ones, with an overall average temperature of 41.1 across all in-door shelves. The bottom shelf was, again, the worst offender, but it came in about 5 degrees cooler than the bottom shelf in the more expensive model. Performance was noticeably better in the body of the fridge, too. This Samsung side-by-side does almost everything right: Both compartments are nice and cool (aside from a warm spot down by the crisper), temperatures hold steady over time, and energy consumption is low.

LG UJ7700

The LG UJ7700 is a good, versatile "4k" UHD TV. The UJ7700 is really the entry model into the high end of the LED-LCD TVs offered by LG. Its excellent smart features make it quite versatile. It uses an alternate pixel structure (RGBW) which results in less accurate display of fine details. The design of the UJ7700 is quite basic, the TV looks quite sleek, with accented edges.

The stand is almost as wide as the TV itself, which may be an issue for those with smaller tables. It looks quite good though and does support the TV well. The borders of the TV are quite thin and look good. The plastic has a silver accent which sets them apart a bit from low end TVs.  The TV is warmest at the bottom of the screen, where the backlight LEDs are located. The LG UJ7700LED TV has an ordinary picture quality. LG's UJ7700 uses an IPS (in-plane-switching) panel, albeit a new one for 2017/2018. The IPS panel allows for much better picture quality from side angles without degrading color saturation and contrast much. This is one of the standout features of this TVs picture quality. There are still weaknesses in both with side angle viewing as contrast degrades, but generally the IPS panel is 20%-30% better from angles than non-IPS panel LED TVs. Reflections are also subdued by the IPS panel and front substrate. Colors do to render more depth and slightly better saturation in these new 4K HDR models.

For an LCD, it has good side angle viewing quality. Good gaming input lag performance is one of another feature

Samsung Q9

Samsung’s QN65Q9F the best 65-inch consumer TV on the market. The display panel has only the power connection and the fiber optical port for the One Connect box, which can be routed through the stand. The One Connect box houses all ports, including HDMI, CI slots, and USB.  The ports on the One Connect box include HDMI 2.0 a, one supporting ARC (audio return channel) to feed sound bars and the three USB ports; an Ethernet port; and a digital optical output. Wi-Fi is 802.11 ac, and there’s Bluetooth support as well. There’s also a “transport” mode where the 4-function circular cursor control and center button function as the play/pause, FF, rewind, end, and begin controls. The on-screen interface is also top-notch.

Q9 is slightly thicker than some previous LCD flagship TVs as well as all OLED TVs. Motion and panning are buttery smooth (the hardware refresh rate is 120Hz) and the detail with HDR (high dynamic range) content is stunning. There’s also HDR+, which is SDR (standard dynamic range; i.e., all other video) to HDR up-sampling to let other material take advantage of the Q9F’s wide color space and greater brightness. The picture is as good as it gets in an LCD TV, and quite probably, TVs in general. Reflections in the LCD panel are modest and less distracting than on most other glossy LCD TVs.
It has an excellent color and detail and Extremely smooth action, with Top-notch remote and interface.  Q9 is Samsung’s flagship TV for 2017 and the company brings to market one of the most elegant TVs with an excellent One Connect box that you can easily hide away. The remote control is one of the best seen and undoubtedly the best ever from Samsung.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4

The Surface Pro 4 is the fourth-generation Surface-series 2-in-1 detachable, designed, developed, marketed, and produced by Microsoft.  The new Surface Pro looks practically identical to the one it is replacing. It’s the same thin tablet with a 12.3 in screen on the front and a kickstand on the back. Microsoft managed to up the device's screen size by a few hairs, from a straight 12 inches to this year's 12.3 inches, without affecting its footprint at all. The display is thus incredibly responsive to touch, and the further sensitivity it brings to the stylus experience is huge. In tandem with the improved Surface Pen, the screen detects 1,024 levels of pressure, even during a single stroke.   The port situation of the Surface Pro is a mixed bag. It has a full-sized USB 3.0 port, which is great. It also has a mini Display Port, which is welcome, and a micro SD card slot hidden under the kickstand. The Surface Pro does not come with a keyboard in the box, and while the on-screen keyboard and handwriting recognition are both excellent. The keys are backlit, which is great when typing in the dark, and offer enough travel to feel responsive.

The front-facing speakers are quite loud and direct, useful for watching videos, but still relatively tiny. The kickstand is ridged enough when out to be able to comfortably pick the tablet up with your finger in the hinge. The Type Cover connects to the Surface Pro with a reassuringly powerful magnetic clunk with locks in place perfectly every time. The Surface Pen attaches magnetically to the side of the tablet, but will always come off when in a bag. Where previous Surface Pro devices have been good experiments, the new Surface Pro for 2017 is now ready for the mainstream as a viable laptop replacement.

Sony Vaio T13

The Sony Vaio T13 Touch gives you the convenience of a full-size keyboard and touch pad with a responsive touch screen for experiencing the Windows 8-style interface. It has very good performance for its class and excellent battery life. The T13 looks slim and flat. The keyboard is large with generous space between keys. Above the keyboard are a few dedicated keys: Assist, Web, and Vaio. Assist launches Vaio Care, a service for diagnosing and fixing problems, while Web launches your Web browser of choice and Vaio launches Media Gallery or Play Memories, part of Sony's music and photo software that comes preinstalled.

In terms of dimensions, the 12.7 x 8.9 x 0.7-inch, 3.4-pound T13 is a bit on the heavy side for a 13-inch Ultrabook. The 1.3 megapixel HD webcam on the VAIO T13 captures still images at a sharp 2560 x 2048 resolution. VAIO T13 packs a 1.7-GHz Intel Core i5-3317U CPU with 4GB of RAM, a 500 GB hard drive, 32GB MLC (Multi-Level Cell) SSD Hybrid and Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU. Sony has a bit of a mixed record with its laptop keyboards, and unfortunately the T13 is no exception. Its chiclet keyboard isn’t backlit, but that’s expected from a budget Ultrabook. Less forgivable is that, though keys are well-spaced and feel pleasant, feedback is so shallow as to offer a rather nebulous typing experience.

Sony VAIO E Series

The Sony VAIO E Series 15.5-inch offers an attractive design, Ivy Bridge power and powerful multimedia software.  The lid of the VAIO E15 is made from brushed aluminum, giving the notebook an elegant yet modern look and feel. The touchpad is slightly submerged with a slim, delicat e chrome border. The 15.5-inch, 1366 x 768 LED backlit display on the E15 delivered rich colors. The E15 offers a large, island-style, LED backlit keyboard. They have Three USB 2.0 ports line the VAIO E15's right side, along with a tray-loading DVD burner and a secure lock slot.  The 1.3 megapixel camera captures images in 2560 x 2048 and video in 1280 x 1024 using the ArcSoft Web Cam Companion. The Sony VAIO E Series 15.5-inch delivers solid, but not spectacular performance by way of its 2.5-GHz Intel Core i5-3210M (Ivy Bridge) processor, 6GB of RAM, 750 GB 5,400-rpm hard drive, and Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU. Although the VAIO E 15 is equipped with the more powerful Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU. During the LAPTOP Battery Test (continuous Web surfing over Wi-Fi), the Sony VAIO E Series 15.5-inch lasted 4 hours and 24 minutes.

This laptop’s weight of nearly six pounds and thickness of 1.4 inches puts it solidly in the multimedia laptop category. Users can pack this laptop, but doing so can be difficult with a messenger bag. A backpack with a laptop compartment is a better match. Key feel is decent, and the layout is wonderfully spacious.Sony uses a strange connectivity configuration, which places one USB 3.0 port on the left flank and three USB 2.0 ports on the right. This gives the Sony one less USB 3.0 port relative to most competitors. Video output comes courtesy of HDMI and VGA, and individual headphone and microphone jacks are available. Both jacks are near the front of the laptop, making them easy to use. The Sony Vaio E Series has never been the most popular mainstream notebook, but it’s long been a good choice.

LG gram 14

The LG gram 14  is the larger complement to this year's 13-inch gram, making up part of LG's line of ultraportable laptops. The LG Gram is very plain. Weighing barely more than 2 pounds, but packing a Core i7 processor and more storage than many similar machines, the gram 14 is fast, capable, and posted a 15-hour battery life in our testing. The screen reproduces an excellent 135 percent of the sRGB color gamut, easily overtaking the ultraportable average (96 percent), the MacBook (107 percent), the Swift 7 (105 percent) and the XPS 13 (94 percent).  LG has a fairly comprehensive suite of software on the Gram, though quite a bit of it is redundant. The gram 14 weighs just 2.09 pounds and measures 0.6 by 12.7 by 8.3 inches (HWD), very light and compact for a 14-inch notebook. The nano carbon-and-magnesium-alloy material used for the body is lighter than metal alternatives, but a bit nicer than plastic. The LG Gram is a super thin PC with a flat keyboard, dark screen and webcam that focuses on your chin

Battery is impressive, with the gram 14 lasting 15 hours and 40 minutes on our rundown test. That's a several-hour improvement over the 13-inch gram (12:33) and better than the Rose Gold XPS 13 (10:42), Blade Stealth (9:20), and Spectre x360 13 (8:18). The screen is sharp and looks great, and it even manages more storage than most of the alternatives. The gram 14 supplies a full array of connectors, including a USB 3.0 port, a USB-C port, and an HDMI port on the left, with a micro SD slot, a headphone jack, and another USB 3.0 port on the right.

HP Envy 14-J008TX

HP Envy 14-J008TX is a stylish and powerful Gaming Laptop and is powered by Intel Core i7 (5th generation) processor clocked at a speed of 2.4 Ghz and sports a 14 inch Full HD anti-glare WLED-backlit that comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels,so the picture quality is crisp and detailed. The HP Envy Series has always been a brilliant combination of style and performance merged into a single device. It always has brought commendable hardware to the play and has always been stylish and sleek. On design front, the HP Envy looks promising. With a simple and minimalistic approach, the HP Envy 14 – J008TX  is sturdy and looks premium.

The display is also one of the best features of this laptop. To begin with, it is a 1080p 14-inch display. It has a matte finish which helps prevent glare. The viewing angles are impressive and saturation levels are also good. The text appears crisp and sharp and with Windows 10 on board. The HP Envy Series has always been a brilliant combination of style and performance merged into a single device. It always has brought commendable hardware to the play and has always been stylish and sleek. We have this year’s HP ENVY 14 – J008TX 2017 version with us which is the direct successor to last year’s HP Envy k102 tx. Beautifully crafted, the design feels rich, feels really good and the overall build quality is very good. There are speaker grills on top and on the bottom side of the laptop. The glass touchpad is spaced and placed properly without eating too much space, aligned correctly to the overall design profile. There is also a fingerprint reader that sits to the lower left of the keyboard.

HP Envy 14 – J008TX  has Chiclet style keyboard which is good. There is no flex while typing on this keyboard because of the aluminium base and this only adds up to the good typing experience. On pressing each and every key, there is an audible click and they provide the right amount of resistance and key travel. This only makes the typing experience much more natural. The keys are placed well but the arrow keys could have been better.

Acer Aspire 7

Acer's latest 17-inch multimedia-gaming hybrid from the new Aspire 7 series comes equipped with a powerful GTX 1060, a fast quad-core, and an IPS display but is consequently optimized with regards to costs in all other aspects. The mostly black Aspire 7 A717-71G-72VY is incredibly large, and its display is surrounded by very wide bezels. The lid and the base unit’s top cover have a cold metal-like feel and are quite susceptible to fingerprints with their brushed metal surface. As can be seen on the photos below, we have had trouble wiping the fingerprints off the surface. The base is very sturdy and rigid, and only flexed minimally under intense force, but remained completely quiet. The thick and pressure-resistant lid is very rigid as well, and barely reacts to torsional forces. The hinge is incredibly tight. So much so that it lifts the entire base when opened. On the plus side, teetering is practically non-existent.

Acer has decided to not only include a TPM 2.0 chip, but also a fingerprint reader, which is located in the upper left corner of the touchpad and turned out to be very reliable and fast. The barren box oh-so common for most Acer notebooks these days contained no extras apart from the charger and the usual quick start guide and warranty leaflet. Accessories made specifically for the Aspire 7 do not exist. he pressure-resistant keyboard is almost as wide as a standard desktop keyboard and narrower by only a few millimeters. The touchpad framed by a silver ornamental strip is sufficiently large, but is placed too far left where it can get in the way of a hand resting on the WASD keys. It offered decent sliding properties even with slightly moist fingers, but did not detect movement or inputs at its edges. Precision and response times were more than decent, and fast movements were detected reliably every time. Drag & drop via double-tap worked every time.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000

The Dell Inspiron is a computer product line produced by Dell as a range of ultra-portable laptop computers. Dell's new Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop considered to be the most comfortable one to the users. It has plenty of power to play most of your favorite games (on medium settings) and can multitask with the best of them. The Inspiron 15 7000 is a little red corvette in a world full of black-and-gray hatchbacks. The keyboard is separated from the touchpad by a gentle, but well defined ridge with the remainder of the inky plastic spilling over the front lip of the system creating a geometric lattice accentuated by a red undercarriage. The sides of the laptop are covered with more of that showstopping red, which helps turn your attention to the slew of ports and slots adorning the notebook's sides. The Inspiron's base-model screen can only reproduce 67 percent of the sRGB gamut, which is well below the 92-percent mainstream average.

The Inspiron 15 is equipped with one of Intel's new 7th-gen Kaby Lake processors, which offer a solid bump in performance and power efficiency compared to the previous Skylake generation. The system's 2.5-GHz Intel Core i5-7300HQ processor with 8GB of RAM is a capable multitasking machine. With its base model display, the Inspiron 15 lasted a whopping 11 hours and 23 minutes on our battery test (continuous web surfing over Wi-Fi) making it the gaming laptop with the longest battery life we've ever tested. Dell-branded software include Power Manager Lite to manage your power settings, Support Assistant runs diagnostics on your system to make sure it's running at tip-top shape. The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop comes with a one-year limited warranty with mail-in service.
